RELATIVE HUMIDITY

Relative humidity is the percentage ratio of actual water vapour contained in a given sample of air, to thd maximum quantity of water vapour that the sample can hold at that temperature.
Ie the temperature of asample of air is raised, its capacity to hold water vapour increases and, assuming that no water vapour is allowed to come in or go out of the sample of air, relative humidity decreases the air becomes relatively drier . The opposite happens in the sample of air is cooled its relatively humidity increases.
